🌸Women’s Health Focus


Women’s Health Week (May 10–16) is also a reminder to stay up to date on preventive screenings such as Pap tests, mammograms, and colon cancer screenings, depending on age. Regular check-ups significantly reduce the risk of chronic diseases and improve overall health.

Essential screening tests for women include:

- Mammograms: Recommended annually starting at age 40 to detect breast cancer.

- Pap Tests: Crucial for cervical cancer screening, recommended every three years for women aged 21-65.

- HPV Tests: Often conducted alongside Pap tests for comprehensive cervical health.
