Holiday Health & Year-End Wellbeing Month

This month, we’re sharing simple ways to stay grounded, energized, and supported through the holidays, plus key reminders to wrap up the year with confidence.

Take a look at what's on this month.

1. Prioritize Rest and Routine

Even with schedule changes, try to keep consistent sleep and wake times. Rest supports immunity, mood, and energy, especially in colder months.

2. Keep Moving (In Small Ways!)

Shorter days can make workouts harder. Easy wins:

·       A 10-minute indoor stretch or yoga flow

·       Parking farther away during errands

·       Taking a walk after meals to ease stress and support digestion

3. Manage Holiday Stress with Mindfulness

Harvard Pilgrim members get access to free relaxation tools through LivingWell.
Try a short breathing exercise, guided meditation, or a stress-relief class this month.

4. Stay Nourished

Holiday meals can be delicious and still balanced. Aim for:

·       Colorful produce

·       Lean proteins

·       Hydration throughout the day

·       Mindful eating, eat slowly and enjoy each bite

5. Protect Your Mental Wellbeing

The holidays can stir up many emotions. Check in with yourself and reach out if you need support. Even five minutes of intentional quiet can reset your day.
